Weather & Season
The best time to visit
Diving in Egypt has the advantage of year-round dive excursions, but water temperatures differ across the year depending on the season. The whale shark season usually starts in late May and lasts until the end of June. Summer is also the best time to spot more sea creatures, as the plankton attracts manta rays and the sea turtles usually nest during warmer conditions. Winter usually offers better water visibility. The best windy season for kitesurfing is from March till end of October.
temperatures
Egypt is a perfect destination with warm temperatures and crystal blue sky all year round. The weather varies between 20°C to 30°C depending on the season. The most considered coldest months are January & February.
WIND CONDITIONS
The high windy season is from March until the end of October with windy statistics exceeding 70% of windy days in a year. The wind tends to blow stronger over the open sea than over tha land, so you can always expect 2-4 knots more then the average land statistics.
